    Default Turkistan Roaches-Blatta lateralis

Is anyone raising these and if so how? Is this a worthwhile endeavor?

I have kept them before. I wasn't thrilled with them. They climbed up my bins and I have seen the males fly. Not to mention they also attract wild turkistans into your home..

Thanks for the useful feedback! My partner went Yuck! when I mentioned roaches, and if they can fly and climb out of the bins, well, that is not a thing I think I want to get into. My black field cricket colony is thriving, so I will just concentrate on that as an alternative to domestic crickets in case something bad happens to my domestics. Besides, I don't mind handling crickets but roaches make me a bit squeamish.
