So far its cabinet grade plywood. Rubber gasketed screws. A few coats of thompson deck sealer. Then all the wood gets hidden in the foam. 0 exposed inside the tank. This time around we are going to use mortar or drylock for a different effect than silicone and eco earth. The wood on the outside(i still havent decided what to use to skin it) doesnt much matter. To seal the door jamb i am using stainless steel step flashing and silicone.

The wife wants me to make it look like an old coca cola cooler. I have the galvinized already but ugh man. Fml.

I cheated, built it around an aquarium. My foam seals over the edge of the tank. Mwa ha ha cheater cheateeeeeeeer.
