They are more sensitive so it's best not to use any flourescent or daylight heat lamps but they don't need to be in complete darkness either, it's just direct light that's bad plus I'm pretty sure UV gets blocked out throughly glass so none will come through the window and hurt the frog but you don't want to put the tank directly facing the window as it may overheat, normal room lighting should be fine. They don't require UVB anyway and infrared bulbs or ceramic heat emitters are good choice for heating as they can be used 24/7 but best connected to a thermostat with a day night setting so it can provide a night time drop
