Show off your Exo Terra!

Hi all!


I am about to start a build for a Exo Terra 24Hx24Wx18D and whilst perusing the forums has been great for inspiration, you can never have too much!


I thought I would see if anyone has pictures they may not have posted yet or if you know, you just want to show off your amazing builds.


I am particularly interested in how people manage waterfalls as these enclosures don't lend themselves to cannister filter tubing particularly well! Tips on siliconing things to glass and providing height for Magnificent Green Tree Frogs would be awesome too!

I keep my White's tree frogs Exo-Terras as simple as possible for easy break down for cleaning and sanitizing, so no organic materials = no wasting of materials. Everything can be disinfected easily with a 10% bleach solution. Temp is maintained at 77-80 F during the day and 73-75 F at night using blue and red heat bulbs (they also have a T5 fluorescent light fixture). Keeping humidity between 45-55% isn't generally a problem, but if they need more a quick shower with a micro-mist spray bottle does the trick. Frogs are bowl fed and/or hand fed. (The Exo-Terra in these pics is a medium-tall 18" wide x24" long x24" tall)

Don't have any pictures of it, but my Green anole colony lives in an Exo-terra as well. I stock it with night-crawlers, meal-worms, and other invertebrates to help clean up the tank. I use Zilla Jungle Mix for them, and they seem to like it. Have a bend-a-vine in there, and a plant (Not sure which species, Bill, help me!) that they love to perch on. Two juveniles and one definite male are in this tank, and I just realized, it's very similar to my old skink set-up, it's the same tank too, just washed and cleaned out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7YT8AbV3h0

That's okay, bought it labeled as an Angel Plant at a Home Depot store once, and it's been the best plant you could ask for, tolerated Green and Cope's Gray tree-frogs, Green anoles, and Five-lined Skinks, always was bright green and growing

These are a few of my favorite Exo builds I have done. Water features are tricky, you just need to be creative in your solutions
