The bloating may or may not be related to the water. Do you know the frogs origins, was it Wild Caught (WC) or Captive Bred? (CB) CB specimens are much healthier, WC specimens often carry diseases and illnesses which don't improve when they're being shipped like half-way across the world

Also wouldn't hurt to snoop around here on other posts to see if anyone else has encountered the same problem that you have
