hey! heat mat should go on the side, however they might appreciate a heat bulb better as they enjoy basking the 15-25W ones that fit in the exo terra canopy should do.

any digital one will be suitable, don't get gauges if using a heat mat as this will not read the correct temperatures as heat mats do not warm the ambient and are contact heaters

white's have been kept without uvb however some feel that because of where they sleep they make be exposed or bask for uvb so there is a good case to provide it, a 13-26W uvb 100 (5%) is appropriate but provide shade so it can self regulate it's exposure. remember to still provide d3 in their diet but maybe in smaller doses, i think repashy has a supplement that will be suitable for frogs getting uv but still needing d3 in their diet.

i personally wouldn't, whites do not tolerate a lot of humidity as many people think they do, infact i've heard they prefer it around 50% and higher over 70% could cause infections
