I agree about them eating very small live-food but so do dart frogs and fire belly toads and those species are everywhere.

Plus, they also may be hard to find, their coloration makes them blend in

yeah they're small and well camouflaged but I've talked to a dude that was herping down in central florida and he said they're everywhere once you find the right spot.

Well, maybe big suppliers haven't found "The right spot." You could always look up which states it's legal to collect them, and find some yourself
