I bought my white tree frog about 2 weeks ago and noticed black patches on his back right leg along with a deformed foot. I wanted to try to help him get better (if something was wrong because he seemed healthy). I recently noticed lime green spots all over his back and I'm extremely worried. What is it and what can I do to help him?
The black patches could be bruises or some kind of infection, it's really hard to tell. How is his eating and jumping? The green spots may indicate something serious, so if possible consider seeking out a herp vet. Call local vet offices and ask. There's also a vet online who can prescribe medication, but I don't know anything about them.
Maybe it's not an infection and the green spots are just a sign of stress. It's really hard to tell.
You might want to complain to the people you bought him from.
