Default Black Cleaner Beetles (AKA Buffalo Beetles)

Hello y'all. I recently ordered Black Cleaner Beetles from ABDragons and, while waiting for the order to be filled, researched them further. It seems as though most people use them in their Dubai containers. I had ordered them to put them in my toad enclosure and turtle enclosure to help keep them clean. Is this a bad idea?

Assuming these are dermastid beetles, I also use them in my more arid enclosures like leopard geckos, to clean, so I imagine it's OK as long as they don't all drown if you have a more aquatic environment.

i'm assuming they mean mini mealworms, not dermestid. though it can be hard to tell if you don't get a scientific name, a lot of common names get mixed up. anyway, i have buffalo worms and they're mini mealies; well, not a true mealworm, but another species of darkling.

considering how bitey darkling larvae can be i feel they may not be a very good vivarium cleaner, they may injure your pets.
