It has been 2 months since I got my frogs into their new tank. They seem to be thriving. While feeding them this weekend, I noticed that there seems to be a small amount fungus growing in the tank. I remembered that before I introduced the frogs to their new home, springtails were all over the tank and now I can't really find them out in the tank. I think I am feeding the frogs enough flies, but now I am beginning to think otherwise. Will the frogs eat the springtails even if I am feeding them enough or should I add more flies to their diet. I don't exactly count every single fly but I can estimate 3 dozen or so flies per meal between 4 and 5 times a week. I did add a bunch of springtails Saturday night to the tank and thinking of various methods of adding springtails into the substrate to ensure there are enough of them to keep the tank clean. Is this normal or any ideas of what to do? Thank you in advanced. I will see about adding some pictures later this week.
