Without an actual picture, it would be difficult to guess.
I've recently moved to Florida and it seems I have a frog friend living in my tree. For the first month I lived here I thought I had a duck friend as it sounds just like a duck quacking. I have yet to see my new friend so can't describe him/her. I only hear the "quacking" when it's raining and it can be day or night. The sound is so loud that it wakes me up even through closed windows. Can anyone tell me what kind of frog it is and what I should be looking for? I am dying to see what kind of little creature could produce such a big sound.
Thanks!!

The only frog I know that sounds like a duck is the wood frog, Lithobates sylvaticus and it doesn't range down into Florida.
