Hi, Im so sorry. Get it to the vet because it will most likely need antibiotics. Good luck.
I found some pacific tree frog tadpoles along with some long toed salamander tads in a shallow ditch so i saved them.i separated them into two different tanks.
i guess i forgot one of the salamanders with the frogs and he got hungry and bit one of my frogs little legs

Hmm good example of why people shouldnt mix species(not saying you did it purposely.). But so far you did a great job identifying them and seperating them I guess. Just take them to a vet. First off id seperate the salamander. And id quarantine that frog. So your other frogs dont get sick. Some frog/salamander tadpoles can act cannibalistic if not enough food is provided. Try providing algea waffers every 5 hours. Because tadpoles are constant scavengers. They are constantly eating. Like goldfish. J ust provide SMALL ammounts of foods. They should be fine. Good luck.
Let me see if I have this correct, the salamander larva bit the leg of a tadpole?
