I have a big keeper full of dozens of medium crickets that I feed to my pacman frog, tarantula and chameleon. Funny enough though they aren't my only pets that enjoy an occasional cricket. It's unavoidable that sometimes a cricket or two will get out and end up wandering around the house. I usually get at least one escapee from every batch of crickets and my dog who's still a puppy just nabbed one off the floor! She's a hunting dog and I guess it's in her blood.
Pretty cool. I would imagine that pure protein would be good for it
True that. I wonder what she'd do if the whole cricket container ever spilled over.
Awesome! We have three cats that are quick to point out a stray cricket, and a Bernese Mtn. dog that's deathly afraid of bugs, with the exception of an occasional housefly.

My 2 pitts have fun chasing them.
That's so funny! It must not be an easy gig if your a bug.
That is just too great! And those are just crickets. I can't imagine how happy the dogs and cats are when somebody has python food escape.
That's cute! But at least your dog didn't do what my puppy did. One day her attention was on the couch. I thought either she was trying to find a bone or a treat that got buried in between the cushions or there was a bug or something that she's trying to catch cuz it was clearly driving her crazy. she's digging away at the couch trying to pull something out next thing you know I see a piece of poop and it was pretty fresh and it was a lot bigger than a mouse or a rats feces. My killer start rubbing herself all over the ****! Mind you she's only 2 months old at this time. Of course I pull her away I don't want my dog smelling like poo. But I knew there had to be a meaning behind her action. So I went and looked it up on Google and sure enough my little murderer was trying to make herself smell like the possum that was living in our couch so she can go kill it or hunt it. I couldn't believe it a two-month-old puppy with her instincts so sharp at such a young age

Every moment is a teachable moment!
Mistakes are not always a terrible thing, especially when you learn from them!
