Hey guys!
Well, here it goes!
I have a pair of Gastrotheca Riobmbae and a second pair coming next week. I am attempting to breed the little guys and i was wondering who might be interested in getting some!
This is a very special kind! I am the only known one as of yet to own these guy here in Alberta, Canada.
They are a tree frog native to Ecuador. Called Andean Marsupial tree frog, those little guys have a very different way to breed! The female has a pouch on her back and when the male fertilize the eggs, he does this cute little dance that basically put the eggs in he females pouch. She keeps the little ones until they are tadpoles and then releases them in the water! She can easily have up to 80 tadpoles coming out of there!
They are super essy to care for and very very hardy! Their care is very similar to a WTF. They only grow to about 2 and half inches for the frmale and 2 inches for the males. A pair can easily be kept in a 18x18x18 tank.
That said, I am not equipped or planning on being equipped to ship to the USA. If any of you Americains friends are wanting some, it will be up to you to arrange pick up and crossing the boarder with them. Can help arrrange the health and vet papers to do so.
Tho, planning on getting it all set up to ship anywhere in Canada
Will have a life arrival warranty, health warranty and buy back program.
Im doing this for the love of frogs! And of course, trying to help the specie and want the world to know about thesemagnificient little guys!
Please let me know if you would be interested!
Price will depend on how many are bought. Shipping cost seperate
Thanks
Probably ONCE in a life time opportunity!
