Well, I just looked at you mystery frog and I beleive it to be a Lithobates clamitans, a very common species, I have one singing in my pool even as I write this (just hope the bullfrogs out there don't eat him). Depending on subspecies, its either a bronze frog, L. c. clamitans or a green frog, L. c. melanota.

I need to find another one so it can have some company. I found it at the pet store for 89 cents, so it was a keeper.
