My 2 vivs are very different in almost every way. One which has the most attention on here is my 75 gallon PA Woods Vivarium. It has native plants and animals. American Toads and a Northern Leopard Frog rule the domain. While I have a Tropical Forest that's run by a sexed pair of White's Tree Frogs and a Betta Fish. The summer enclosure is an Exo Terra 18x18x24 and winter is a 30 Gallon. It's so cool to have 2 drastically different environments. The 75 Gallon Woods has an established ecosystem with cultured Woodlice and Earthworms along with some evasive slugs, stone centipedes, and goldfish in the water. This is mostly terrestrial and the Amphibs are more skittish. The Tropical Forest is just the 3 and they love people. The frogs are very moody and the fish is so friendly. It coaxes my mom into feeding him extra because he stays around where people are if they walk in to the room he is in. I truly enjoy the differences in the environment and the animals because they are my favorites in their respective categories. I cannot pick a favorite enclosure, species, or animal because I enjoy all aspects equally. If you are experienced and you can do it, different enclosures are very cool. With how different everything is for the enclosures, it's so unique to provide different cares. Right now I'm trying to get more plants for the Tropical tank so I'm waiting to get some video of that. I have gotten some vids of the 75 Gallon PA Woods however. More to come soon. I hope this sparks some interest on owning multiple vivs with different needs.
