science teacher needs class pets: axolotls or geckos

HI im a middle school science teacher in queens ny. I feel students need to bond with animals to learn respect for all living things and to acquire an awareness of life no matter form or size. If you would like to donate your axoltol or gecko, I am available now. Once I have filled my 2 tanks, I will not be needing more. If you are in need of relocating your pets and only want them safe and cared for- well consider me or any local school. Most science teachers love pets in their classrooms. Some are too much work or illegal in NY so consider that before donating.
