    Do you run a filter to keep water clean in the false bottom. How high do I fill so the soil don't dirty water.

    Hi there! I use a filter under my false bottom and once a fortnight I siphon it empty, clean the filter and top the water back up I use egg crate, screen, river pebbles, thick layer of peat, sphagnum on top!
