Night crawlers

Does anyone use night crawlers aso a staple food for their WTF? I used them for my pac and just assumed I'd use them for my whites. Then I realized I don't see many people on here using them. If it's not a good staple could you recommend something besides crickets. The pet store near me doesn't have small crickets and the next closest one is 20-20 minutes away. TIA!

Night crawlers are an excellent staple (so long as you're using supplements) for WTF's. I do not have any tree frogs willing to eat them, if I did, that's what I would use as a staple!

Most whites for some reason don't like night crawlers, that's why people rarely using them, but if you can get yours to eat it, by any means, that's one of the foods.

I believe that giving mine crawlers helped him develop a protozoa infection, but unless you get a bad crawler they're nutritious staple foods. Most frog owners just don't like having to cut the big ones down to size.

feeding nightcrawlers has nothing to do with Protozoa infection.

OK thanks! I just got 2 whites last night and I got them some night crawlers. Tried to tong feed a piece to them. They each jumped at a piece but didn't eat it Then I went back to Walmart and get red wigglers just plain earthworms. One of my little guys jumped at it but didn't eat it. Then I felt back because they were hungry and I didn't get crickets.... I hate crickets!
