I wasn't sure where to post this, since there isn't a general health section.

I have read that Lamisil AT can treat chytrid infections. My question is, it this a permanent treatment, or does this only treat outbreaks? Of course, I understand that the enclosure will need to be sterilized.

I breed clawed frogs, and have been lucky never to have introduced the fungus to my collection. Part of that luck is buying from a reputable dealer, Xenopus Express. But, it is always good to know in advance if the treatment will work. It is doubly important with clawed frogs since they are often asymtomatic. I will continue to have my colony tested twice annually and any time I purchase new frogs.
