I wasn't trying to tell you to stop doing it, I saw your location and figured that without at least two heat sources your room temps would be on the chilly side, so that's why your pac was comfortable burrowing on top of the heat pad. Like I said, with a thermostat regulating it there should be no chance of burns.
I was just saying that in a situation where the ambient temp is higher it's more likely to be an issue because they'll NEED to be able to cool off and get confused as to why they can't. There's no one correct way to keep frogs, and if he's doing well that's all that really matters.
