Is it ok to put my pac into warm honey water every week for him to clear his " system "

Hey man hows your pacman doing now that its been a couple weeks. Havent seen any post since the last so im assuming he finally ate for you, which is good. The warm honey baths wont harm him but why would you want to do one every week? You don't need to clean his system, is he having a hard time going poop? If he is pooping ok I wouldn't worry about a bath once a week, just added stress that isn't really needed. You could wait and just give him a bath at the end of the month when you do your clean and substrate change.
Hi, I realise my pacman likes to hunt and that is the only way he will eat lol. But it's quite hard for him as he seldom moves and the tank is quite big. He has been in the ground for a few days already and today was cleaning day so I took him out and he look a little bloated so I thought why not try the warm honey water and guess what, he poop a huge one!. So I was thinking maybe I can do it every week to clear his system, guessing that would be good for him as well.

You could give him a little longer then a week to poop, my big girl albino will go once a week to sometimes 2 to 3xs a month. Its really up to you, if you feel she is having a hard time going as I mentioned before the honey baths wont hurt him/her any. My first pacman that passed a while back had hard time going with out the honey bath so I did the once a week bath and it didn't effect her in any bad way. And if she didn't go then I would wait a couple days and do it again and usually she would go the second time around. But again if he will go by himself there really isn't a need for a honey bath because I mentioned before its unneeded stress, everytime we handle our frogs it really freaks them out and from what I have read it actually takes them awhile to calm back down. And ya there poops are massive, when my big girl goes I know as soon as I walk downstairs cause that's all you can smell. Oh and glad to hear he finally settled for you and is doing better.![]()
She's a great pooper we were just that first one after surgery

I usually have to give mine honey baths every other week at least, but that's because she has chronic issues with being able to go (she's also remarkably chill about it, so the stress isn't too bad, but some frogs freak out). Unless yours chronically never goes on his own there's really no reason to need to do it that often.

Well, thats a good thing at least... do you keep water with your pac? Big Weld(our pac) has a small soak that we keep in for him. Its like his bathroom i guess, because he only goes there. Some need the water, some just dont like it.
Yeah. My Pac ( tofu ) has his little pool but he doesn't use it lol.

Some will use the water dish and some wont. when you have the humidity in check sometimes they absorb enough moisture through the air and substrate that they feel hydrated enough to not go to the water. So if he shedding ok and everything else seems normal I wouldn't worry about it, just keep changing it everyday and if he feels the need for water he will go. Some nights my albino will just at the edge of the bowl with her front legs sitting in the water and chill, she looks so relaxed when she does this. I will try to get a pic. one night when she sitting this way
