My roommate has gotten me interested in dart frogs and has recommended I start with Azureus. The plan is to setup two tanks and get 6-8 froglets at the next reptile show (I'm very interested in the breeding process, would've gone into the bio field if it required less disection). That show isn't until November so I have a few months to get their tank setup. I'm planning on getting a live moss growing, seed the soil with bugs (I think it was springtails and isopods) and putting in live plants (also driftwood, coco huts). Since I do have awhile I was wondering if anyone had any tips for setting up the ideal environment for these guys. I know they prefer long to tall so I'm not going to convert the tanks vertically, would they enjoy or dislike some kind of water feature? best plants for this kind of frog? etc.?
