Not all tree frogs will take night crawlers, out of my 7 tree frogs, not even 1 has any interest in night crawlers. Crickets are a great feeder so long as they are dusted with vitamins and calcium. I gutload mine with fresh fruits and vegetables to make them more nutritious. If you're having problems with them escaping, either figure out where they're escaping and plug it, or bowl feed. Use a smooth glass bowl that is at least 1.5 inches deep. The crickets cannot get any traction to jump out and your frogs will learn that this is their feeding ground, and flock to it when they're fed.
Dubia roaches are another good feeder if you can find them.
2.0.3 Hyla versicolor "Eastern Gray Tree Frogs"
2.2.0 Agalychnis callidryas "Red Eyed Tree Frogs"
0.0.3 Dendrobates auratus "Turquoise and Bronze"
0.0.1 Anaxyrus fowleri "Fowler's Toad"
And another little trick with the crickets is take there back legs off, this way they cant jump to the higher parts of the tanks. They have to walk up the branches and leaves and when they are moveing that slow I don't think any will get buy your frogs. I use to have the odd escape when feeding my fire belly toads crickets and since doing it this way I haven't had one. Even if they make it to the top once they reach out to crawl the glass they fall, if they cant get to the top ledge were the hole would be they aren't getting out.
