I want to get some fire belly toads but I only have a 20 gallon critter cage it says don't fill with water but I was wondering if filling about half with 3-4 inches would be okay. Thanks
Hi, if it says not to fill with water there has to be reason so may be it wouldn't be the best thing to do. If you went to walmart or something down those lines I imagine you could find some kind of square plastic bin or tray that you could use. I have plastic cupcake tray I used to use awhile back in my quarantine tank for my firebellies that I got at the dollar store that would fill about half the tank you have. It was just a tray to put them in after bakeing them so my kids could bring them to school and the depth is perfect. Another thing that would work good I bet if will fit in your tank is one of the shallower drawers you get in those stacks of clear bins that have the different depth drawers. That would be perfect depth too, I think there only about 4 inches high.
This is the drawer thing im talking about. Something like this would probably work.
