Short houseplant type plants would be best. Pothos (a vine) and trascendentia are examples of pretty popular terrarium plants. Many of the "exotic angel" plants at wal-mart would do okay in a terrarium.

You've got soil without fertilizers, right? And a false bottom/drainage layer? If you haven't, check out the thread about live terrarium building.

Okay will do thank you. We are just starting out it's a 15 gallon tank and a bunch of sticks for them to climb and sit on. The people at the pet store had us buy a heating lamp and a terrarium bedding which feels like green brillo to me.
