Hey sorry it took awhile, I had to locate a camera. Pics not great but probably good enough for an ID. Anyone?

I can't ID them based on these pictures. Is this frog alive? Looks dead to me.
The frog is alive, but is either doing an unken reflex or is very very ill. It is one of the frogs in the Lithobates catesbeianus group (Aquarana for those that care about the formal names of subgenera). It is one with no dorsolateral folds... that makes it either Lithobates catesbeianus or Lithobates
Quite wrong for once Kurt, He is alive and well. He was just incredibly stressed by me taking him out of his habitat. He froze up. I will try to get a better picture, but i dont really have access to good camera.
So Lithobates catesbeianus seems like a good guess, I suppose as it gets older it will be much easier to tell. But if your right hes going to get pretty big! Hope this helps Jo-Anna.
Thanks Richie. Hopefully your little frog got over his stress quickly. Let him know it was for a good cause and give him an extra cricket from me.
I still haven't decided what to do with the tads yet. As of right now, I have decided to let them morph, just because I want to make absolutely sure I know what they are. That, and I can't punish an animal for something outside of its control. If they had stayed in the petstore, they would certainly have been killed. At least with me, they will get the best care possible. But I made if very clear that I don't want to know about any more tadpoles!! Unless I get the funds to start my own Amphibian Rescue, I am officially out of room for a while!!
