Hi I was wondering if someone could tell me if the Exo terra repti glo 5.0 would be ok to use with my firebelly toads. And if not could someone recommend a good bulb?
exo terra recommend that bulb for fbt's on their uvb chart. i've read about studies that have been done and shown that fire bellies DO benefit from UVB and I think it's probably true considering their active day and night and therefore exposed to some in the wild

Thanks for reply. I think I might try it out, my bulb blew this morning so at the moment im just using some 9 watt energy saving bulb. So I was thinking of changing up from what I have been using because they don't last very long, I have been using some zoomed blue daylight bulb without uvb but supposedly has uva to stimulate daytime activity for feeding or something like that.
no bother. the light off the bulb isn't amazing so i'd use it with exo terra natural light as well. the exo terra bulbs seem to last long so how hopefully that shouldn't be a problem
