Superworms are really not so much nutritionnous and shouldn't be considered as main food.

I know superworms are not the best thing out there, but I like to keep them around as a back up if I run out of crickets.

You brought up another good point.
Where do you find locust? Wouldn't they bite the frogs?

I live near Paris and I can find them in many pet stores.
From my side, I usually buy them mainly at "La Ferme Tropicale" which is the most famous reptiles and amphibians pet store in France :

(In French, "Criquets" means "Locusts").

No, they won't bite. You just have to cut the back legs they use to jump, as they can hurt the frog.

Yup..... Mine loves his crickets but will not eat Night crawler worms and sometimes wont eat any other snack worms.
