    Default Please Help Identify

Ok so today I was in the Dominican Republic and by chance I caught some tadpoles, they were swimming in large groups and I observed them for a while but could not understand what they were. They are all black in the morning and have some gold speckles on the at night they become paler and the speckles are move visible. I thought they were cane toad tadpoles but there were flamingos eating them which makes me think they aren't as then the flamingos would die. The next day I visited and the same thing was happening please help me identify.

    Hi Nami
It would really help to include a picture of the frogs you saw. There are 47 species of frogs and toads in the Dominican Republic. The vast majority of species is in the genus Eleutherodactylus.
