Hello everyone, I'm really hoping someone can help me!
So after a happy accident of tadpoles four years ago, when they got older I gave one to my friend Kirsty. However the other week she messaged me with the images below. Ralph's eye has started to swell up (appears to be swollen?) I've not come across anything like this before and we have both tried to research online but we've had no luck!
I hope someone on here with a lot of experience knows what is wrong with Ralph's eye and if there is anything she can do to help him, the other eye is starting to do the same thing. As you can understand she is pretty worried about him. She is going to bath him in Epsom salt and see of that helps?
He lives on his own and has some slate slabs and plastic plants in his tank but they don't have sharp edges.
Any suggestion would be much appreciated!
Thank You!
Emma & Kirsty

Hello
I have adfs and not sure what you can do to help your friend's frog. I think I would start by removing the feeding dish and the plastic frog, they don't look like tank safe?
Has your friend checked the water parameters of the tank. By that i mean has she been using chlorine free water or treated chlorine water and also this includes checking ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite levels in the tank. I don't actually know what the problem is but im just putting some ideas out there to possibly aid in a solution. But i would check past these things even if the readings are in fact high.
