This may seem like a silly question and I think I already know the answer but I just wanted make sure. About 3 weeks ago I was supposed to bring home a new pacman frog but didn't get the chance to because he had some serious neurological problems he had developed, crazy thing is I held him and fed him a cricket in the store 3 days prior and he was fine. Went back to get him and when we went to pick him up he went into convulsions ended up flipping over and when the guy at store finally picked him up the poor guy passed away on the spot. Neurological was the only thing we could think of being he was fine 3 days prior and he does take very good care of the animals that come into his shop until there relocated to permanent homes. Anyway the question is im finally getting my new guy tomorrow and a few weeks ago when I didn't get to bring the one home I just turned the heat off in the enclosure took out the plants and water dish and all the cocofibre has now dried up. Since nothing was ever in there and it was just cleaned prior to putting the cocofibre in could I not just wet that same stuff and use it, or would it be better to totally change the substrate?
that sucks, poor guy. just wet the same stuff, i don't see why not. i usually leave leftover coco fiber in a bucket to remoisten when i clean out my frogs cage
Ya that's what I was thinking and that's what im going to do. Thanks.
