    Default Question about dusting.

With my pcf's I only dust once a week. With my wtf do I dust every feeding? And do I feed her everyday? Not sure how old she is...

Here is a dusting schedule by another member to give you an idea: http://www.frogforum.net/showthread.php?t=26121
I used Repashy's Calcium Plus and dusted every other feeding and it worked very well for me.

I dust with Repashy calcium plus because I don't know how long it takes the frogs (RETF) to get to the crickets so there's no way to know how much supplement is still on them. I don't bowl feed and it's a heavily planted tank. I have never seen them eating, but there are never any crickets in the enclosure, there's a bunch of poop and the frogs are growing!

My girl ate 2 crickets last night and I dusted 2 for her tonight and she ate them very quickly! She has pooped nice solid poop twice today! Guess she is settling right in. Should I feed her more? She seems like she is hungry but worried about her getting fat!

it would be okay to hold off on feeding for a few days, now that she's downed a number of crickets. She should be okay since she doesn't look too skinny or too fat as far as I can tell.

I'd like to ask one question about dusting. Is it not a good idea to dust every single time is it best to do a schedule or does it hurt just to dust every time.

Hi, I would stick with every second feeding. Think of it almost the same of us, sometimes to much of something that's good for you could also end up not being good if taken to much. And I believe someone correct me if im wrong that to much calcium could also result in MBD. You don't want to under do it but you don't want to over do it either. Hope this helped.

If you give to much calcium they can get something called Hypocalcemia or its called Hypocalcemic MBD. And from what I understand its pretty rare that it happens. Just wanted to give you the proper name because I knew it was a form of MBD but had its own name so I went and looked up.

She looks good to me! I fed my frogs as much as they would eat in one sitting and never had any issues. I think as time goes on you will get an idea of how much food is a good amount for her.

She has fat rolls around her ears but they don't cover her ears more than halfway so that indicates she's at a healthy weight.

    Calcium plus contains calcium + vitamin? So it's a 2 in 1?
