Default Pinky mice - Yes or No?

So one of my pacman frogs is getting to the size where I could probably start feeding it a pinkie every once in a while. In your opinion are they worthwhile? Or is it unnecessary to feed pinkies?

I wouldn't bother with pinkies. I would stick with dusted crickets, dubias and nightcrawlers. Frogs have a harder time digesting mammalian tissue. Good treat items would be silkworms, hornworms, butterworms etc.

Yeah, I was leaning to that thinking as well.

If you do feed pinkies, no more than one per month as their high fat content can cause liver and eye problems. I occasionally give my pac a mouse when the snakes refuse it, but typically she gets nightcrawlers. If you don't have other herps IMO it's not worth the trouble to bother buying mice just for a pacman.

Pinkies are actually very good for frogs when fed correctly, especially if you plan on breeding.

I am sure that you know, but for just anybody browsing, it is feeding good, healthy and appropriate foods that have calcium dust occasionally

They were talking about mice not other foods!

Feeding mice correctly is no more than one per month and nothing with fur on it. The fur can cause impaction and IMO isn't worth the risk.
