    Millipedes do not have a toxic bite no. But they do release noxious gases when they feel threatened. The Millipedes won't cause much of a problem to wood, and none to plants since they only eat decomposing organic materials. I would not use Millipedes as feeders, the best thing is isopods which you should only feed as a treat as they have hard shells
