It looks boy to me as well. I don't see pads to confirm though. I would expect a 4-5yr old cranwelli female to be bigger as well.
Hi,
thanks. The previous owner thought it was a female, but it looks more like a male to me, too. Then again, as far as I know, it never croaked and I didnīt notice nuptial pads while handling the frog (but I didnīt really pay attention).

Donīt mess with the wrong guy...
Heīs a voracious eater, but he doesnīt like earthworms. He spits them out every time. Is this a common behaviour in some pacmans?

It can be. Ours are extremely picky.

Yes, Pacman frogs are often picky eaters.
My male ornata was hunting all kinds of preys when he was a juvenile (Crickets, red runner roaches, little earthworms).
Now, he is a subadult, and he only hunts nightcrawlers, adult locusts.
He likes also dead mices with tong.
But, he doesn't like anymore hunting Dubia roaches or crickets...He only accepts them by force feeding with tong...
Ok, so I guess I donīt have to worry
My frog likes crickets (dusted, gut loaded), roaches, small fish, woodlouses etc. I prefer feeding him with forceps (I donīt think it has something to do with force feeding, I just hold the food in front of his snout and he takes it by choice) because itīs easier to control the amount of food that way. I might change that as soon as I have more experience; he didnīt always eat properly in the past and Iīm still new to this species after all.
