I don't see nuptial pads, but, head shape and throat which seems to have a little bit grey color...I should say male.
Did you ear croaks ?

It looks boy to me as well. I don't see pads to confirm though. I would expect a 4-5yr old cranwelli female to be bigger as well.

thanks. The previous owner thought it was a female, but it looks more like a male to me, too. Then again, as far as I know, it never croaked and I didn´t notice nuptial pads while handling the frog (but I didn´t really pay attention).

My ornata croaks and has a little grey color on the throat, so he is a male.
But he has no nuptial pads yet.
