I guess H. chysocelis just have better taste in music....
On that note...have any of your collection responded to recorded calls?
My versicolor do. The only other frog species I keep right now is African Bullfrogs and my male appears to be indifferent to his own call.

My chrysoscelis responds to recorded calls, he also pipes up on his own regularly. I have good luck getting the native versicolors to talk to me with a few recordings on my cell phone in the spring and summer as well.
