This is Piccolo my 1.5 year old male gabf. He's a tank, haha. Fed home bred Dubia roaches, superworms, earthworms, occasional crickets, hornworms, wax worms and butterworms. Gets calcium and multivitamin supplements once a week. His enclosure temps are 85f day/70f night. I use reptisafe on his water. He has just a fluorescent light and peat moss substrate. I feed him in a separate container then give him a warm bath.

Nice looking frog, I got offered a pixie yesterday because I had bought a pacman and he had serious neurological problems so I had to bring him back and the guy offered me the pixie to replace him. It really sucked because I had to say no and I was looking for one forever but the tank I was going to house him I had sold 2 weeks ago to clear up some clutter, I came to the conclusion that I wouldn't find one were I live. Well I was wrong and now I cant house it, he was already the size of a softball and all I had was ten gallon available and I didn't think it would be fair to him to be shoved in there till I get something bigger. Funny thing about the pacman is I held this frog, watched it eat and everything a few days ago and he was fine, yesterday the poor guy couldn't even use his one arm, couldn't hop and he flipped over in the water dish and didn't even try to correct himself. It was crazy.

Nice frog! It must take an extra large tank for such a giant.

@elly He's in a custom built wooden box. 2' deep, 3 long and 2' wide. Anything less and he can jump out. I cover the top with thick plastic.....8" of substrate that I keep moist.

@pryu He does spend most of his time buried deep. Even when he had access to water 24/7, I never saw him in it after his growth spurt.... Under a year old and he was always in it. I removed the water and now I just bathe him once a week after his feeding. In the picture he's above ground which is not normal...i usually have to dig to the bottom and pull him out to feed him. I only feed him once a week in a separate container and I don't bother him otherwise but I do handle him and touch him so he's not jumpy. He's often shedding when I dig him up but he always eats like a pig.
