I have been reading reviews on Underground Reptiles and all though a lot of people have had good experiences, quite a few have had not so good experiences. It seems you would be taking a chance by ordering from them but like Cory said, hopefully someone with experience with them will be able to help.
Thank you for helping me, I will proceed cautiously.
Those weren't my ornatas, that was just a picture I found to show the false eye spots. They are gorgeous though! Your little guy is adorable Grabibus! Do you have a name for him yet? Also, I haven't been on the forum in a while so how is Graboune the pyxie?
If you dont want to get a spray bottle just sprinkle some water out of cup ( treated water). You really need to get a digital hygrometer and thermometer to make sure everything is on point.
Frog wise. Cranwelli is the cheapest in green/brown really good eaters just not big as ornate. I really like my red ornate and I have to watch my hand if i make a quick. Cornutas are very cool looking and not picky eaters if captive bred. In the wild they eat frogs and a lot of original cornutas that were sold were wild caught so thats where that came from. My favorite right now is the caatinga. Its more rare and a little more expensive but i like them a lot.
The fantasy frogs are cool and I havent seen any that had health problems. Theyre just sterile from what I understand. There are so many morphs mostly cranwelli types to choose from. The only bad thing ive heard about is what is called a green apple which is a cross between a cranwelli and caatinga they have a lot of health issues from what I read. Hope all that helps
Yes, all hybrids are sterile.
Graboune is very well. But I sold her because, I was a little bit frustated to see her only 1 or 2 months per year. 10 months burried per year.
But she is stil so nice and she is still an eating machine.
I sold her to one guy who is used to care reptiles and amphibians.
What you guys think of albino pacman? And besides coconut fiber, what can I use?
