    Default can i use clay to make a waterfall?

    ok im making a dart frog tank and im wanting to make a water fall with a cave behind it but i was wondering would clay wear down fast with all the moving water?

    I think you can, just make sure it dries enough before putting it in the tank

    Non-fired clay will erode. It's not a good substance to use for a water feature.

    You could use spray foam covered in drylok paint, non-sanded grout, or a few other coverings. Slate is a popular material to make water features from. You can use natural stone, or fake stone. The options are kind of limitless.
