I'm having a little bit of trouble with mold in my gecko terrarium, so I'm in the market for springtails. If anyone has some extras to sell off, let me know! I don't need very many, since I have only one gecko and it's a 18X18X18 terrarium. Bonus points for anyone who can meet at either the Southcenter Mall (in Tukwila), or the University of Washington (Seattle). Otherwise, I'm happy to pay shipping as well.
If desired, I can trade you some small (and I do mean small, they're like little epiphytic species) terrarium-friendly ferns and/or Selaginella. They're common species, but they look really nice. The university greenhouse gives them to me all the time for my tanks, and they're guaranteed to be pesticide-free.
Thanks for reading!
I can send you a culture of springs for some small ferns. email me shrommj@ptd.net
Thanks for your response, Michael--unfortunately, after a few days went by without a response, I figured no one was interested. I ended up finding a web site that sells the springtails in bulk. I apologize for the inconvenience!
No problem. I always have lots of springtails and isopods.
I'm sorry for the late response. I can be emailed at shrommj@ptd.net
Oh i just saw the comments. dang my computer is slow. If you need some more there are some more at joshs frogs for good prices. and what would you charge for one of those species of fern?
