8 month old wtf question

I'm going to look at 3 whites someone has for sale on Craigslist on Sunday. In the ad there was a pic of two frogs. The ad also said that she fed them dusted crickets. I just read it again and it said they feed them dusted crickets every weekend. I asked in a message how old they were and she/he said they got them in October. I asked for pics of the third frog and they said that it looks just like the other two and they didn't have anymore picture. The reason they said they are selling them is they are changing terrariums and want to consolidate their frog collection that they were used to a 40 gal. I'm afraid I will be buying stunted frogs. I'm hoping they eat more than every weekend and she just dusts them on weekends. I will ask tomorrow as it is late tonight. Anyway what should I look for when I go check them out? Any advice will be appreciated!

I'm thinking maybe they meant the dust the crickets on weekends. Hope so!

They look healthy, but then you don't know if they are current pics or not. Look for nice formed poop, clear eyes, nostrils and vent area. I really wouldn't worry about them being "stunted", I would be more focused on healthy. Good luck.

I meant failure to thrive. Couldn't think of the words for it. Of course I want them to be healthy. That is my main concern.

I would ask them when the picture was taken, if the poop is well formed etc. They might be offended, but they really shouldn't be.

They said they eat every Saturday and are about 4 inches they guess cause they have never measured them. I'll ask about the poo.

They look good in the photo, it'd be interesting to know what else is in the tank as it's a froggie community that needs thinning out.....
