THANK YOU ALL
Hey there, Flippy Skadoo here-

Being an expert in raising tadpoles and freshwater fish, I would like to guide you in some tadpole-fishtank best practices:

#1: Your frog will not drown he will swim to the surface to breathe. Frogs can float just fine. Anyone who tells you differently obviously doesn't know what they're talking about and probably have 0 experience raising tadpoles to frogs in a fishtank.

#2 Tadpoles can stay tadpoles and breathe water for an extended period of time if they are not near land. Therefore if you leave your tadpole inside the tank it will take longer for him to turn into a frog.

#3 Finally adding some kind of dispenser to the top of your tank could work as a hangout spot for the frog. Make sure you're feeding him enough and he should be fine. Although there have been cases where frogs due jump out of the tank so make sure there is an enclosure.

I hope that answered all your questions. Once again, Flippy Skadoo I know my tadpoles.

Best,

Flippy
