Sad News and Good News

Hello everyone,

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile, school year finished and I've been super busy. Anyways I have 2 announcements, the bad news is my Pacific Chorus Frog died a week and a half ago [emoji24] I believe she died from old age [emoji20] And now for the good news, my dad caught a toad for me the other day!!! I believe it is a Boreal Toad, a subspecies of Western toad. Any different thoughts would be great! Also if anyone could help me with gender too that would be awesome! Made a big mess of his/her cage last night [emoji16]

Sorry about the chorus frog, but the toad is really cute! For my name suggestion as follows

Boy: Hamlet
Girl: Hope

Looks to be male, could be wrong but that's just my two cents

That is such a cute toad. I love toads, but most are illegal in Alberta unfortunately. My dream toad is a cane toad, I actually got the chance to see one in person! Such a wicked animal, as is yours!

Thx! I would love to have a Cane Toad except they take up too much space I hope this guy grows up to be around 4 inches from snout to vent!
