Thread: Repashy Grub Pie

  1. #1

    Default Repashy Grub Pie

Just got a bottle of this in from the repashy store. Fed a good 1x1x7cm piece to my pacman frog. He was timid of eating it at first and only bit off a junk on first bite. Second time around he devoured the whole thing.

My frog's a pretty picky eater. We feed him 90% earthworms and 10% samurai pacfoods (he rarely eats this, we feed it to him when we run out of worms) and we were able to get him to eat the repashy food on first try.

Just letting you guys know that they'll eat it.

I would personally not give this to my pacman but not for bad reasons, I just prefer to give him live real food because I imagine that's what he would want. Well and if it isn't moving normally he knows somethings up I swear, I had cut a worm one night and it wasn't moveing so I tried to make the action and it was no go. But once I went and got a new worm that thing was gone before I could even get it in front of him. But anyhow about this new product I have seen the guy here at the reptile shop give it to Geckos, frogs, skinks, I think even got a monitor chowing it down. If you google the Reptile Wrangler Barrie Ontario he has some videos if him trying it out with different kinds of reptiles and Amphibians. It will come up as a facebook page. And if you go check it out you should see the nice three pacmans he just got in.

Was the bug paste you're referring to "grub pie"? Strangely enough, the description of "meat pie" product actually says its made for pacman frogs (and other carnivores of course).

Yeah. From petsmart.... smelled like death too. Long since threw it away and started having my kid dig up nightcrawlers in the woods lol. Big Weld loves his worms... beginning to worry about his weight tho. Hes mighty fat and jiggly lol.
