I know everyone here will get this I JUST LOVE THESE LITTLE GUYS! I am so geeked as my son would (did) say about these little frogs. I can't stop looking at them. My husband just doesn't get it and keeps saying stuff like " I thought the plan was to watch them change and then release them into the wild ". As if I could just let my babies go out into the cruel world! The poor man also lives under the silly impression that one day I will let our sons move out of our house. I am keeping the 2 new froglets in a square 4 liter disposable food storage container that is approx. 6.5" tall. I took cuttings from a forsythia bush and am using those for perches and cover. I purchased flightless fruit flies and have put some in with the frogs but they seem almost too big for them to eat. I intend to set up a proper home for them once the other 4 tadpoles morph. Does this sound ok, any advice is welcome.![]()
It sounds good. They should be able to eat flightless Drosophila melanogaster because I've used those to raise them in the past. I doubt they could tackle the larger Drosophila hydei though.

Just make sure they have good ventilation.
We had a silly high ( for an uneducated lout such as myself ) survivor rate and currently have 19 of the little guys bouncing around in a 29 and still tadpoles to go. Have to figure out how to transfer them to the other 29 that's set up to be a better hab. Slippery little debbils.
