Those dimensions calculate to it being a 40 gallon tank, but it is not the standard dimensions for a 40 gallon, so you might have a bit harder time finding accessories that fit it exactly. Is it a converted fish tank or is it a terrarium with doors?

the closest aquarium in terms of exact dimensions would be a 37 gallon tank, so perhaps it is that and he mismeasured slightly.

Got the measurements from the guy who is trying to sell it so that maybe what the issue is. Its a fish tank based on the picture i saw and it has a screw cap built into it to drain it.
