I trained my WTF's to eat Out of a separate bin, so I take them out every time they eat. I started it when they were younger and now they expect to come out. They are very calm and don't jump around all over the place. So as long as you spray them, and wear gloves which is the proper thing to do (I never got into it) you should be fine.
