My smaller wtf has been moving around the tank a lot, squishing his face into the corners. He's also been digging into the substrate. I don't think the digging is an attempt to stay warm or humid, because the temperature and humidity have been pretty high lately. He digs next to the glass, so it looks like an escape attempt. He hasn't started scraping his nose on the ceiling yet but it may only be a matter of time.
I don't think he's bothered by the other frog...Bonk just sits there most of the time, waiting for a cricket to appear in his bowl. If he was bothering Julep I'd probably have seen it at least once.
So, how to deal with this? I could get a tank taller than 24'', but it would have to come through the mail and...let's say I've had bad experiences with getting heavy glass shipped.
What do you people think about letting your frogs out of their tank occasionally? I've done this to Julep and he just sat there on the ledge for a while, but when I put him back he seemed calmer. Obviously there's a chance that he'd get lost or hurt himself so it's not the best solution.
